This 130×90 cm oil painting on canvas tells the story of the royal descendants of Ki Dukuh Jumpungan, the king of Nusa Penida. The painting illustrates the dramatic tale of Rengan’s attempt to destroy Bali Island. Upon hearing of a powerful knight emerging in Bali, Rengan decided to attack. However, Serikesari Warmadewa, the ruler of Bali, guarded the land from Padang Bai to Padang Galak (East to West).<\/span><\/p>\n
When Rengan arrived from the south, Serikesari Warmadewa leapt onto the boat (jukungan) carrying Rengan.
